9th Wonder @ 2015 Sankofa Lecture Series In Denver 

September 24, 2015 – Hip Hop: A Soundtrack for Social Change is the theme of the 2015 Sankofa Lecture Series, the only conference in the Colorado region that situates the study of Hip Hop culture as a site of cultural literacy, identity formation, and tool for innovative and effective teaching practices. This year’s keynote address will be provided by the incomparable music Producer, DJ and college Professor, 9th Wonder. 
Other activities include a film screening and discussion of critically acclaimed documentary, Hip Hop Hijabis; a featured talk by Dr. Regina N. Bradley, prominently known as the “Red Clay Scholar” and curator of the interactive Hip Hop web series “Outkasted Conversations,” and a panel session with community organizers that use elements of Hip Hop culture to transform lives.
